HÔTEL-DIEU DE CHICOUTIMI: NEW EXHIBITION TO MARK 130TH ANNIVERSARY

Exhibition/ From Louis Jobin to Vic Dallaire, 130 years of sculptors

The Augustinian Sisters of l'Hôtel-Dieu de Chicoutimi recently inaugurated a new exhibition in honour of the 130^th anniversary of the arrival of their founding sisters.

For the occasion, three rooms showcase some 50 wooden sculptures acquired by the community since the founding of the monastery in 1884.

It’s an opportunity to see sculptures by such artists as Louis Jobin and Vic Dallaire, works to which the public generally has little access.
